Trip Itinerary

Plan to arrive in Las Vegas at least one day before the trip starts. We will send hotel reservation instructions once you book your trip.
Meet a representative early in the morning at the designated hotel. Board the shuttle for the scenic five-hour drive to Marble Canyon where you meet your river guides for orientation. Guests repack into the provided dry bags and get underway by late morning. Let the journey begin!
Each day there are opportunities to soak up the Grand Canyon vistas, experience the biggest whitewater in North America, and explore various side canyons, waterfalls, and streams. At midday, lunch is prepared on the sandy beaches next to the river. After a full day, it will be time to set up camp and then relax while sharing stories with new friends. As the sun sets over the canyon walls, appreciate a good night’s rest under a starry sky.
Enjoy a final riverside breakfast amidst the Grand Canyon backdrop. Pack up camp, load the rafts, and head out. By mid-morning, guests say goodbye to the guides and transfer to a jet boat for a scenic ride through the final miles of the Colorado River. A bus will be waiting at Pearce Ferry to take you to Las Vegas, arriving by mid-afternoon.

What people say

“The grandness of The Grand Canyon was magnificent. The Colorado was simply beautiful. The life it showed was breathtaking. When still, it soothed. When playful, it thrilled us with its swallowing rapids. Spectacular night sky. Incredible geological history gives a new meaning to time. I shall be back.”
— Amrita, Dunwoody, GA

“The anticipation of this bucket list event had built over time and I was expecting great things but this adventure and that is what it was, exceeded all my expectations in every way. It was made special by the fantastic guides who I can't praise enough. The spectacular scenery of the canyon, the friendliness, banter, bonding, and teamwork of the whole group. We really did make some wonderful new friends who we will see again. The smooth professional organizational skills of the Arizona River Runners staff throughout was exceptional and we would not hesitate to book with them again. In fact, we are hoping to do the same itinerary in the near future. Thank you all once again.”
