Trip Itinerary

Marble Canyon Option: Plan to arrive at Marble Canyon, AZ at least one day before the trip starts. Consider staying at the Marble Canyon Lodge since you meet the guides and other river guests near there on the first day. Guests may park vehicles in the parking lot across from the Marble Canyon Lodge during the river trip at no charge.

Las Vegas Option: Plan to arrive in Las Vegas at least one day before the trip starts. We will advise guests on reservation instructions for the designated Las Vegas hotel when you book your river trip.

Las Vegas guests will meet a representative early in the morning at the designated hotel. Board the shuttle to the airport for the charter flight to Marble Canyon. Everyone will meet together with the river guides near the Marble Canyon Lodge. After a continental breakfast and orientation, board our shuttles for a brief ride to the launch point at Lee’s Ferry. We will provide your two dry bags and a life jacket, then are ready to get underway by mid-morning. Let the journey begin!
Passengers raft through some of the most famous rapids on the Colorado River such as House Rock, Hance, Horn, Hermit, Crystal, and Lava Falls. Some side exploration options include Redwall Cavern, Elves Chasm, Deer Creek Falls, The Little Colorado, and Havasu Creek as well as many other breath-taking possibilities. There are sight-seeing stops, bathroom breaks, and lunch on sandy beaches by the river each day. Late afternoon, relax at a campsite and share stories with your new friends about the day’s adventure. As the sun sets over the mighty Grand Canyon walls, passengers will be ready for a good night’s rest under the starry sky.
Enjoy one final riverside meal amidst the Grand Canyon backdrop. After breakfast, guests board a helicopter at Whitmore Wash (mile 187) to be flown out of the canyon for a seven minute ride to Bar 10 Ranch. There is typically time to shower and stroll through the gift shop before boarding a charter plane returning to Las Vegas, NV or Marble Canyon, AZ.

What people say

“The group was great, the rapids were exciting, but the real star of the show is the Canyon! I loved traveling through the rock layers and could hardly believe the beauty of the middle granite gorge. All that ebony schist riddled with granite and studded with barrel cactus...WOW!”
— Margie, Solvang, CA

“I can not express my gratitude enough to the crew/program for such a memorable experience. The side hikes/day trips/stories/wisdom and preparation were outstanding. I would do this again in a heartbeat!”
— Sarah, Goodyear, AZ
