Trip Info Packet – Full Canyon To Whitmore Wash Itinerary

Option #1: Las Vegas, Nevada Charter Flight

Airplane on the ground in Marble CanyonOur most popular option. Fly from Las Vegas, NV, to Marble Canyon, Arizona, on the first morning of your river trip and back to Las Vegas on the last day. Reserve these charter flights through Arizona River Runners. Additional flight cost is approximately $310 per person.

One day before your river trip: Arrive in Las Vegas and stay the night. Lodging information is available here.
Day one: Meet the shuttle driver in the lobby of the designated hotel at 4:45 a.m. A few grab-and- go breakfast items will be available for all guests. You should be dressed for the river and have only your river gear with you. We will promptly shuttle you from the hotel to your 1-hour charter flight. Your guides will greet you when you land in Marble Canyon. There will be a continental breakfast and orientation. You will then board our shuttles for a short ride to the launch point at Lees Ferry where you’ll pack your duffel bag into the provided dry bags before heading down the river.

Final day: After breakfast on the river, a breathtaking helicopter ride will take you out of the canyon to the Bar 10 Ranch where you’ll likely have time for a shower before boarding a plane back to Las Vegas. A shuttle will then drop off at the designated hotel and Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) around 12:30 p.m. Flights out of Las Vegas should be scheduled after 2:30 p.m. on this final day. Our bus must go to the airport immediately after dropping guests off at the hotel. If you have luggage stored at the hotel, you’ll need to factor in extra time to retrieve your bags and then arrange transportation to Harry Reid International Airport on your own.

This timing typically works well, but due to the remote nature of this trip and multiple modes of transportation, we cannot guarantee our exact return time back to Las Vegas.

Option #2: Drive Yourself To Marble Canyon, Arizona

Marble Canyon LodgeBest for guests driving their own vehicle to Marble Canyon, AZ. Marble Canyon is approximately a 5-hour drive from both Phoenix, Arizona, and Las Vegas, NV.

One day before your river trip: Arrive in Marble Canyon and stay the night. We suggest you stay at the Marble Canyon Lodge (800-726-1789); they generally only accept reservations for the current year. Lodging information is available here.

Day one: You’ll meet your river guides at 8:00 a.m. for a continental breakfast and orientation. Facing the Chevron gas station, the guides will be outside in the small grassy area just to the right (east)
of the Chevron. You should be dressed for the river and have only your river gear with you. You
will then board our shuttles for a short ride to the launch point at Lees Ferry where you’ll pack your duffel bag into our dry bags before starting your whitewater adventure.

Final Day: After breakfast on the river, a breathtaking helicopter ride will take you out of the canyon to the Bar 10 Ranch where you’ll likely have time for a shower before boarding a plane back to Marble Canyon. You can expect to arrive between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. The airstrip is adjacent to the parking lot where you left your vehicle.
