Did you wait too long to book and now the Grand Canyon rafting trip you want is full? Don’t despair! In general, the further in advance trips fill up, the more cancellations we tend to see. Get added to the waitlist and we’ll be in touch if any spots open up.
Although we never know if or when cancellations might happen, we are most likely to receive notice about 4 months before the trip when final payment is due. Those who have the best chances of getting on a trip are typically open to several different trip types, have a wide date range, and only need 1-4 spaces. Occasionally, we may have more spots open up on a trip if a larger group cancels, but that happens less frequently.
To be added to our waitlist, contact our office and provide the following information:
– How many people are in your party?
– Which trip types are you interested in?
– Which months work for you?
– How much notice do you need to jump on a trip?
We can also add you to the waitlist for trips with our sister company, Grand Canyon Whitewater. Although some of their trips have slightly different logistics, we use the same warehouse and guides. The main difference on the river is the name on the rafts.
If you aren’t able to get on the trip you wanted, sign up to be notified when we release the following year’s schedule. Generally, how far in advance you need to book a trip depends on what trip type you are interested in, how large your group is, and how restricted your dates are.
Feel free to reach out to our office for more information. We can also help you look for available trips.
Hope to see you on the river soon!
