Trip Itinerary

Plan to arrive in Las Vegas the day before your trip. We recommend staying at the Desert Rose Resort for a very convenient stay as this is where we will pick-up in the morning. Be sure to book your room well in advance.
At 4:45 a.m. on Day 1 of your trip, an Arizona River Runners representative will meet you in the lobby of the Desert Rose Resort. You will load your gear into the charter bus, grab a bagged breakfast (provided), and be boarded for a prompt departure. It is approximately a 5 hour, scenic bus ride with at least one rest stop. Keep a jacket close by as the air conditioning on the bus can be quite cool. Once you arrive, the guides will provide an orientation, dry bags, and life jackets before heading down river.
Each of our river trips are different. This is a good thing! Guides customize trips based on the dynamics of the group, availability, and weather, but just know that this trip will include: hikes to hidden canyons, famous whitewater rafting, serene Grand Canyon vistas, hearty food, and great people!
Enjoy one final riverside meal amidst the Grand Canyon backdrop. After breakfast, pack up camp, load the raft, and boat to Diamond Creek. From there guests will ride a bus to Peach Springs, AZ. An air-conditioned charter bus will be waiting to return guests to Las Vegas, NV if you select that transportation option.
